VitaLink Parent Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to the VitaLink Parent Android app published under the package name com.berloga.vitalink.parent.
1. Who we are

2. What this app does
VitaLink Parent is the parent-side companion app for family device management. It lets a parent or guardian pair with a child device, review child device status, view today's screen time, and send remote lock, unlock, or timed block commands.
3. Information we collect
Depending on how the app is used, we may collect and process:
- Pairing information, such as pairing codes, child installation identifiers, child labels, and parent labels.
- Child device status information retrieved from the backend, such as lock state, timed block status, last report time, and daily screen time totals.
- Parent-issued commands, such as lock now, unlock, or timed block requests and any optional notes attached to those commands.
- Network, service, and diagnostic information generated when the app communicates with backend services.
- Advertising-related information collected by Google AdMob if ads are shown in the app. This may include device identifiers, IP address, app interactions, and diagnostics handled under Google's policies.
4. How we use information
- To pair the parent app with a child device.
- To display current child device status and daily screen time.
- To transmit remote management commands to the child device.
- To operate, secure, support, and improve the app.
- To serve ads in the parent-side app.
5. Sharing of information
We do not sell personal information. We may share data with:
- Supabase and related infrastructure providers used to store pairing records, child reports, and parent-issued commands.
- Google AdMob and related Google services if ads are displayed.
- Service providers, hosting providers, and legal authorities when needed to operate the service, protect rights, or comply with law.
6. Data security and storage
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data processed by VitaLink Parent. This includes using HTTPS for backend communications, limiting local app data to app-private storage where possible, and restricting backend access through service-side controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Data retention
We retain data for as long as needed to operate VitaLink Parent, provide support, maintain paired device functionality, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations. Some information may remain in logs or backups for a limited period.
8. Your choices and deletion requests
- You can uninstall the app to remove locally stored data.
- To request deletion of backend records, contact berlogamailbox@gmail.com and include the app name plus any relevant pairing code or device label.
9. Children's privacy
VitaLink Parent is intended for use by a parent or legal guardian to manage a child device. Parents or guardians are responsible for the way they use the app and for obtaining any permissions or consents required under applicable law.
